The grate plate is a ceramic grate dish used to easily grate garlic, ginger, peppers, nutmeg and more. The graters are handcrafted from stoneware ceramic using food safe clay and glazes. Stoneware is extremely durable, easy to clean and is also dishwasher safe. Our grating surface is softer on your hands, so you won't cut your fingers like you would on a traditional metal grater. You will also notice that your garlic and ginger grate until finely pureed, providing the best flavor.
