In an opportunity presented by COVID-19, Kingshuk and Kushal Maukherjee and his brother opened up Qargo Coffee, a coffee shop that is a testament to honest work practices.
.Every semester, masses of students pack up, say goodbye to their loved ones and fly thousands of miles away to pursue their education overseas. Although the idea may seem a little daunting, studying abroad is widely considered one of the most eye-opening experiences a young adult can have. So, what’s the big deal? Sit down by the fire, grab a mug of hot cocoa and listen to two returning LMU students recount their experiences from their time abroad. Through the highs and lows, culture shock and cold weather, Jordan Furuta, a sophomore civil engineering major, and Raymond Jorgensen, a junior film, TV and media studies major, believe that taking that leap is absolutely worth it.
