Designed to be used as a placemat for your table or a dish drying mat in your kitchen, our felted wool will add a touch of texture and beauty to your space. Wool is nature's fiber- it's anti-microbial and water-wicking, making it perfect for a dish drying mat. Compared to synthetic fibers, wool is much more flame/heat resistant, making it a safe option protect your table from hot goods. 
Each placemat/dish drying mat is hand designed, so no two will be exactly alike. Made from locally sourced wool, felted in our workshop and sewn by hand. Our felted wool fabric is milled at our workshop in West Sonoma county, CA.
Dimensions: 14x 20 with mitered corners for a more finished look than other felted placemats. 
To clean: blot with water. Do not machine wash, please, but if you must, wash COLD and damp dry or preferably wash/dry in wool cycle.  Expect up to one inch shrinkage if washed. Felted wool makes an excellent placemat since it is antimicrobial and mold resistant, meaning please resist the urge to wash and they should last for many years.
