This vintage baking and serving dish will save you time when you have two casseroles or vegetables you'd like to serve! This dish and it's matching cover were made by Pyrex. The pattern name is "Americana". The baking dish was made from a white glass. A pattern was applied to the outside. The pattern is of American and kitchen symbols, such as the American Eagle, corn, coffee mill and wheat. The pattern was set in a gold color over a brown background. The dish is in an oval shape with two easy grip handles on each end. The dish is divided in half by the white glass. The lid fits the baking dish perfectly. It also has the two easy grip handles on each end and a part of the glass divides it into two sections for ease of baking. The underside of the baking dish is marked in the glass "1 1/2 Quart", "Pyrex", "Made in U.S.A." and "16". The glass lid is marked "Pyrex" and the numbers "845 C 35". The set measures 8 1/2" wide, 13" long and stands 3 3/4" high. This baking serving set is in great vintage condition. The baking dish has no chips, cracks or loss to the pattern used. The glass lid has two tiny nicks on the edge and some scratching. I have reduced the price to reflect this. This is a great set for baking two casseroles or two vegetables and serving in your vintage dining room! Please look over all of my photos as they are part of my description.
