We've put together a sourdough bread making kit which includes most of the essentials you'll need to be successful!
First off we have a quart sized Weck jar which is the perfect size for keeping your starter nice and cozy in your fridge. It's a good size for the home baker who bakes a few loafs a week.
Once you get started the dough whisk is a super handy tool to mix wet and dry ingredients. Made of high quality stainless steel ring and a wooden handle. The two eyes design allows dough to pass through three loops in succession, quickly mixing the ingredients.
The linen tea towel dampened makes the perfect cover over your bowl while the dough rises and rests.
The GIR scraper is a multi use kitchen tool, made with perfect flexibility and GIR's signature unibody construction. There's a ruled edge, broad curves for bowl scraping, a pointed tip for cleaning between whisk wires, and totally unique inner curve to clean rolling pins and mixer columns.
The bread lame comes with 4 replaceable blades. The solid stainless steel scoring tool is fitted with a hand crafted wood handle with a secure non slip razor blade which is easy to replace and re-attach.
A couple bonus items we added are handy toaster tongs for when you toast your homemade sourdough bread; and they're not just for the toaster. And lastly, cleaning dough out of your bowl can be messy and we've found this recycled nylon scrubber takes on the taskjust throw it in your dishwasher every now and then as needed.
