Batch brewing with a drip machine like this probably won't make as clean of a cup as a pour-over or Aeropress might. But it's hard to beat for speed and convenience. You can get a drip machine that offers more control over the brewing process (like Moccamaster), but it will generally cost 2-4x as much as this Bodum dripper.
