Buying a blade without a handle is cheaper and it gives you the opportunity to design a handle to suit your own carving style. I decided to use a deer antler I was given to make really characterful handles. This is how I did it..

I make functional handmade wooden spoons and utensils using only hand tools. I use windblown or pruned trees that I collect from the local area. My greatest which is to make things that people love and love to use. My spoons are intended to be elegant and highly functional and I'm constantly striving to perfect their design.
