Embroidered Mexican Dress Hearts to show your love in the kitchen! Or use them as super cute hand towels in the powder room. I am always trying to keep the scraps of these hand embroidered Mexican Dresses out of the trash and here’s another clever use for those little bits left over from pillow making. Hearts are hand cut and appliqued onto 100% cotton dishtowels for a fresh take on a shabby chic look. There are some frayed edges and the wonderful flowers often make the fabric pucker near the embroidery. These are 100% hand embroidered! Each tea towel is then edged with some pom poms just to keep things lively. Embroidery colors and pom poms will not match unless you ask for it in advance! Too, the ones you receive will probably not be the exact ones in the photos. If you do not like surprises or are super picky, please let me know in notes and I will send you some pics of the exact ones I have available to ship. I also often will have other colors available but not pictured. Please refer to the color list in options for up to the minute availability. Specifics: These are done on a very generously sized 100% cotton towel. Each towel measures 20″ x 27″ overall before washing. There WILL be some shrinkage in the wash and we always recommend a cold water wash when these cotton dresses are involved. If you are worried about the pom poms, just pop them into a lingerie bag or in a pillow case before you wash them.
