Hand wash only with lemon and hot water. No soap required. Use mitts to hold under the pot for heavy pots. Use wooden spatula or plastic brush to clean as well. Do not overload the clay pot with food. Use bigger pots and pans for party cooking. Hold the pots and pans from the bottom with silicone coasters or oven mitts.
