They are SO much lighter than the new Lodge pans, and its handle is as smooth to hold as the cooking surface, and is perfect as your first Vintage Lodge. Handmade by early 1900 artisans, there are no cracks or damage apparent. There is a sand shift created area in the middle of the skillet.
