Welcome to my Junkgle. It gets better here every day. Good spot! You found this old Revere Ware 1801 copper bottomed 1.5 quart saucepan and 6 inch skillet hanging out in the junkgle. They travel with a lid that fits either one. They were made before 1968, meaning they have a thicker copper bottom than in subsequent years. They have plenty of signs of use, but are still in great functional condition. The skillet sit flat on a flat surface with no wobble. The saucepan has a mild wobble in all directions. There is mild damage to the bottom of the handle of the saucepan nearest the pan. It has disintegrated/ broken from heat damage. The knob on the lid has some blistering from excess heat and has been repaired from previous breakage. It does not thread completely flush to the lid. (It leaves an 1/8" or so gap.) The handles otherwise have some minor wear and some grunge in the seams, but are solid and secure. The finishes of the pans have dulled from many superficial marks but are still shiny. The saucepan has a some light scuffs and some light staining and discoloration. Besides the stains and discoloration they are generally smooth and clean inside. Their bottoms have a lot of dark staining and light build up of burned on grunge, but are smooth. Thanks for taking a stroll through JustinsJunkgle! This item, like most of the items i have for sale, besides my original creations, came to me as rescues. I do not know their history, but i try to get to know them well before I find them a home. I give them cleanings when necessary and i'm able, but there may be more to touch up depending on the item and/ or your taste.
